Apple has raised the bar for wireless audio with the official launch of AirPods Pro 3 at its global event on September 9, 2025. Announced in Cupertino and now available across India, the new generation AirPods Pro are priced at Rs 25,900 and will be available starting September 19 online and at select Apple stores throughout the country.
The AirPods Pro 3 sport a redesigned fit with five ear tip sizes—including XXS—for improved comfort and a secure seal. Apple analyzed over 10,000 ear scans to create a universal fit, ensuring these earbuds cater to all users, from commuters to athletes.
In a first for Apple’s audio wearables, the AirPods Pro 3 introduce heart rate monitoring via an integrated sensor. This feature uses on-device intelligence to track heart rate, calories, and supports over 50 workout types within the iPhone’s Fitness app. “With AirPods Pro 3, the most popular headphones take a massive leap forward, adding heart rate sensing, extended battery life, and Live Translation to our best-in-class audio experience,” said John Ternus, SVP of Hardware Engineering at Apple.

Audio quality also receives a dramatic upgrade. AirPods Pro 3 deliver up to 4x stronger Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) compared to the original, and twice the ANC performance of AirPods Pro 2. New foam-infused ear tips, an innovative multiport acoustic architecture, and Adaptive EQ combine for deep bass, vivid vocals, and a wide soundstage. The refinements promise an immersive experience whether travelling, working, or relaxing—up to 8 hours non-stop with ANC active, a 33% improvement over previous models.
Fitness users will benefit from seamless Apple Fitness+ integration, with live data on calories and heart rate displayed during workouts. Apple has also introduced Live Translation, which uses AI to enable real-time, face-to-face translation of languages, supporting English, French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish at launch.
IP57-rated durability ensures resistance to dust, sweat, and water, increasing longevity for both active and daily use. The MagSafe Charging Case features Apple’s latest U2 chip, improving findability and security.
With preorders now open and release set for September 19, Apple’s AirPods Pro 3 offer an advanced combination of health tracking, personal audio, and comfort—signalling a new chapter in wearable technology for Indian consumers.
