Former Pig Destroyer member Blake Harrison has tragically passed away at the age of 48
leaving the metal community in mourning. Harrison, known for his work with Pig Destroyer from 2006 to 2022, also made significant contributions to other projects like Tentacles of God, Triac, Zealot R.I.P., Daybreak, and Hatebeak. Additionally, he was a regular contributor to Decibel Magazine.
Tributes from friends, fans, and fellow musicians have been pouring in, highlighting Harrison’s impact and wonderful character. Christopher Eustaquio of Sunrot remembered Harrison as a source of inspiration and a supportive friend. Christoper Xavier Donovan, owner of Reptilian Records, described Harrison as a creative genius and loyal friend, reminiscing about their shared interests and conversations.
