Apple’s much-anticipated iOS 26 update begins rolling out across India tonight, marking a transformative leap in design, intelligence, and user experience for millions of iPhone owners. Apple promises a more immersive, vibrant look, without compromising functionality.
Apple Intelligence, meanwhile, debuts as the headline feature. Leveraging on-device AI, users benefit from intelligent summaries of messages and notifications, context-sensitive actions, and real-time translation integrated directly across apps and calls. Live Translation alone empowers seamless communication in multiple languages, working on supported iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches. The new iOS also updates the Phone app, adding AI-powered Call Screening for blocking spam, and Hold Assist to stay in line with customer support on your behalf. Compatibility is expansive: iOS 26 supports iPhone 11 and newer (including SE 2nd gen and above, all models in the 12–16 lineups, and the new iPhone 17 family).
