The Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games run from September 19 to October 4, 2026. For Indian viewers following several sports, a reliable schedule needs more than a list of dates: it needs a stated time zone, the correct round and a current event status.
The Japanese Olympic Committee’s event page confirms the dates and host location. The organisers’ website links to the official schedules and results service.

Use the official results link as your starting point
Open results.asiangames2026.org from the organisers’ site. Find the relevant sport and date, then check the specific event rather than relying on an old social-media timetable.
The difference matters when a sport has several rounds on the same day. A session start is not necessarily the start of your chosen athlete’s contest. Similarly, a qualification result does not establish the winner of the final.
How to convert Japan time to India time
Japan Standard Time is UTC+9, as explained by Japan’s National Institute of Information and Communications Technology. India uses UTC+5:30. Subtract 3 hours 30 minutes from a time labelled JST to obtain IST.
| Example time in JST | Equivalent in IST |
|---|---|
| 09:00 | 05:30 |
| 14:00 | 10:30 |
| 19:30 | 16:00 |
| 00:30 | 21:00 on the previous date |
These are conversion examples, not fixtures. If a website already displays your local time, do not subtract the offset again. Check its label or time-zone setting first.
Build a viewing list that survives changes
For each event, write down five things: sport, event name, round, time zone and source link. Add the date and time when you checked it. This small habit makes a saved timetable much easier to update than a screenshot with no context.
Before the contest, revisit the official entry. Look for a revised start time or a change from scheduled to running or completed. If the event is completed, use its results page rather than an earlier start list.
Keep separate reminders for qualification and finals when both interest you. Do not label a reminder with an athlete’s name unless their participation in that round has actually been confirmed.
Schedule access is not streaming access
A free results page does not promise a free video stream in India. Confirm broadcast coverage and subscription requirements with the current rights holder before paying or following a streaming link. This guide does not assert unverified broadcaster names or medal totals.
